Hello, friends,
It’s been over a week now, yet no luck. I’m expanding my locations and hoping for more options.
But in the meantime, I must admit I have little to no updates for you. I’ve been staying with my boyfriend’s family, which has honestly been amazing.
I got rather tipsy for the first time last night…and my sweet Jack has a lovely video of my utter brainlessness. (I could have sworn Finn was holding up three fingers…it was four) I’m not going to tell you the amount of alcohol I had because getting that tipsy from such an amount is almost embarrassing haha…
I got to ride my first leased horse this afternoon with one of my friends. I hadn’t ridden that horse or really spent time with her for a good while. It was so good to be with her again, I wish I could continue to lease her but time and money don’t allow at the moment. She’s getting older now, and I worry that I won’t have much time left out on the trails with her. She has been the most amazing friend to me, and truly is the best therapy. Time with your horse is nothing but joy; all sorrows and fears are drowned out completely. June has been that horse for me. Though she doesn’t show emotion as much as the other horses, she will always hold a very special place in my heart. And no she’s not dead, I just miss her.
Well it’s back to work tomorrow, and here’s to hoping for a quick day, my friends. Not that I don’t like my job, it’s just that there are other things I’d like to do.
